How the Calculator Works

Each of the 8 genes (LDHA, CRY1, DRD4, F-KER, MSTN, LRP8, GSR, CASK) is considered independently. The tool calculates offspring probabilities for each gene according to Mendelian inheritance, multiplies probabilities across genes to obtain all possible offspring genotype probabilities, and evaluates each offspring using a scoring system to determine the best and worst possible genotypes.
