I. General Terms

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the services provided by Zhangjiakou Dingwei Biotechnology Co., Ltd. (Dinweys Co., Ltd.) and its affiliated laboratory, Zhangjiakou Seno Biotech Co., Ltd. (collectively, “the Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) to you (“the Client,” or “you”) for Racing Pigeon Performance DNA Testing and related services. By submitting a sample or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

II. Description of Services

  1. Scope of Service: The Company provides specialized molecular diagnostics, specifically analyzing 8 critical gene loci related to racing pigeon performance (LDHA, DRD4, CRY1, MSTN, F-KER, LRP8, GSR, CASK).
  2. Product Classification: All products and services offered are feed-grade/animal nutrition and are intended exclusively for animal use (specifically avian/pigeon species).
  3. Exclusions: Our services are not intended for human consumption, human medical diagnosis, human food processing, or pharmaceutical applications.

III. Limitations and Disclaimers

  1. Scientific Reference Only: Genetic profiling reports are provided for scientific research, academic, and breeding reference purposes only.
  2. No Performance Guarantee: The Company expressly disclaims any guarantee that the genetic results will predict or ensure specific racing success, health outcomes, or breeding results. Racing performance is a complex trait influenced by multiple genetic factors, training, environment, nutrition, and health.
  3. Data Limitation: Interpretation criteria (e.g., AA/GG classification) are based on current scientific literature and the Company’s proprietary laboratory data. Scientific understanding and interpretation may evolve over time.
  4. Species Verification: By submitting a sample, the Client warrants that the sample is derived from a pigeon (avian) source and is correctly labeled.

IV. Sample Submission and Testing

  1. Sample Requirements: The Client is responsible for collecting and shipping samples (feather with intact follicle or blood card) according to the Company’s Sampling Guide.
  2. Contamination Risk: The Company is not responsible for inaccurate results caused by sample contamination (e.g., cross-contamination between samples or environmental DNA).
  3. Insufficient Sample: If a sample fails analysis due to poor quality or insufficient quantity (e.g., missing feather follicle), the Client will be notified. The Company reserves the right to charge a small handling fee or require the Client to submit a new sample, which may incur additional shipping costs.
  4. Turnaround Time: The estimated turnaround time is 2–3 business days from the sample’s arrival at our lab. This timeline is an estimate and not a guarantee.

V. Payment and Confidentiality

  1. Payment: Payment terms (including bank transfer and PayPal) are specified on the invoice. Services will only commence upon receipt of full payment.
  2. Confidentiality: The Company treats all genetic data and client personal information as highly confidential. Genetic data will not be shared with third parties without the Client’s explicit written consent, except where required by law.
  3. Data Usage: The Company reserves the right to aggregate genetic data (anonymously, without identifying the specific pigeon or Client) for internal R&D, statistical analysis, and to improve our testing criteria.

VI. Liability and Indemnification

  1. Limitation of Liability: The Company’s total liability for any claim arising from these services shall not exceed the total amount paid by the Client for the specific service in question. The Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (e.g., loss of prize money, loss of breeding stock value).
  2. Indemnification: The Client agrees to indemnify and hold the Company harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from the Client’s breach of these Terms, including but not limited to, using the feed-grade product for human consumption.

VII. Governing Law and Contact Information

  1. Governing Law: These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the People’s Republic of China, specifically the jurisdiction of Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province.
